Pelini's first class heavy on Ohio players

YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown State coach Bo Pelini, on the job for two months, has announced his first recruiting class.

The Penguins signed signed 30 players overall, including, 19 from Ohio and five from Pennsylvania.

Noticeably absent from this class are Florida-based recruits. No members of this class hail from the Sunshine State.

Last year, eight Florida players (and just seven from Ohio) were part of what turned out to be former YSU coach Eric Wolford's final recruiting class.
