L.J. Scott: Urban Meyer called to try to flip him to OSU

— Hubbard High School running back L.J. Scott, who signed a national letter of intent with Michigan State on Wednesday, said he got a call from Ohio State coach Urban Meyer on Tuesday night.

Scott said Meyer, whose Buckeyes won the national championship three weeks ago, was making a last-ditch effort to flip the Spartans' recruit to Columbus.

Scott said he declined, telling Meyer: "Its not easy, but I gotta do what's best for me. Wherever that means I'll feel more comfortable, I gotta take that path."
