Fitch's Hall, Harris commit
AUSTINTOWN Austintown Fitch running back Darrin Hall signed and faxed his letter of intent to new Pittsburgh head coach Pat Narduzzi early this morning.
While some Panthers fans were concerned they would lose the 4-star recruit after the coaching change, Hall said he felt like the new staff actually suits him better.
“I have a stronger connection with Coach Narduzzi than I had with Coach Chryst, because he recruited me for four years,” he said. “So that was a big plus.”
Hall’s teammate at Fitch, Antwan Harris, also made his decision official, signing with Lake Erie College. He’ll have an opportunity to play quarterback, running a similar offense as he did this year with the Falcons.
“It can be a good place for me, because they do some of the same stuff we do here at Fitch,” Harris said. “It wouldn’t be hard to adapt to that school and I took that into consideration, because that’s a big help.”
