National organization helping with search for missing Warren man
Staff report
WARREN
The national organization LostNMissing Inc., which has ties to the Warren area, is helping the family of a missing city man.
The organization sent a news release Sunday in hopes of alerting the public to a new area where Darryl Hall, 73, may have gone.
Cynthia Caron, president of the organization, and the Warren Township Fire Department both have indicated that Hall was captured on video at Center of The World Storage on state Route 5 near the Duke and Duchess gas station about 10:30 a.m. Jan. 25.
That is a short time after video from the Short Stop Truck Stop on Route 5 captured him walking into the woods behind the truck stop, Caron said.
As a result, Caron asks anyone living or traveling west of the Duke and Duchess to check out buildings or their property for Hall and be watchful for him.
Caron said there is still hope Hall is alive if he took a ride from someone. Caron at one time lived a few streets away from Hall, who she described as “the kindest person.”
The Hall family contacted LostNMissing Inc., after Hall went missing Jan. 25. He had threatened suicide as a result of medical issues. He had not been located as of press time Monday night.
A Facebook page dedicated to the search is at www.facebook.com/#!/MissingDarrylHall.
