Former Trumbull County worker sues to get his job back and back pay

WARREN — A former employee of the Trumbull County Sanitary Engineer’s Office has sued the county commissioners for wrongful termination.

Gary Gaydosh of Hazelwood Avenue Southeast says in a lawsuit he filed in common pleas court that he was employed by the sanitary engineers from July 2004 to May 31, 2010.

His employment was terminated while he was under indictment on criminal charges, the suit says. But Gaydosh did not commit any criminal offense or engage in any misconduct that would justify such action, the suit says.

The suit seeks for Gaydosh to be reinstated to his former job with back pay and restoration of benefits or participate in the mediation and/or arbitration process. The suit also seeks more than $25,000 in compensatory damages.
