Dan Vogler to run again for Lawrence Co. commissioner
NEW CASTLE, PA. — Dan Vogler, chairman of the Lawrence County commissioners, today announced he will seek re-election this year. He plans to run in the Republican primary election May 19.
Vogler, 55, of Neshannock Township, was first elected in 2003. He served as board chairman from 2004-2008 and also from 2012 to present. Before his election, Vogler spent most of his career as director of governmental affairs at New Castle-based Pennsylvania Power Co.. He was also elected Neshannock Township Supervisor from 1992 to 2004.
A native of Wampum, Pa., Vogler is a graduate of Mohawk High School and Westminster College. He is the father of three children.
