Two sisters jailed after fight, stabbing

WARREN

Twin sisters age 24 were taken to the Trumbull County jail at 12:26 a.m. today from their home on Commerce Avenue Northwest after one of them suffered a stab wound.

Police arrived at the house to hear a female yelling, “You stabbed me,” then found one of them hiding in the basement under a blanket.

She admitted to officers that she had been drinking, but she kept changing her mind as to whether her sister stabbed her or she stabbed herself.

The other sister said she and her sister fought after her sister broke pictures and a coffee table in the house. A male witness confirmed the allegation that the stabbing victim had been breaking up the house prior to the fight.

The woman without the stab wound had blood on her hand, police said. The other woman was taken to ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital, where she received three stitches and then was taken to the Trumbull County jail on suspicion of domestic violence.

The other sister was taken to jail on suspicion of felonious assault.
