Rising country act the Swon Brothers will open the show for Brad Paisley when he comes to a sold-out Covelli Centre on Friday night. Here are five quick facts about the Swon Brothers:
v Identity: The duo consists of Muskogee, Okla., brothers Zach and Colton Swon.
v Debut: The Swon Brothers released their self-title debut album Oct. 14.
v Singles: The act recently released their new single, “Pray for You.” It follows their Top 15 debut single “Later On.”
v Nominees: The Swons have been nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year for the ACM Awards, which will take place April 19. They were nominated in the same category at the CMA Awards, which were in November.
v Television: The brothers were finalists on Team Blake in season 4 of NBC’s “The Voice.”
“Celebrity Apprentice” (8 p.m., NBC): Joan Rivers, who captured the “Celebrity Apprentice” crown in 2009, is featured as a boardroom adviser in the current edition, filmed a few months before she died. The episode has the contestants creating a “photo bomb” campaign.

Blues challenge seeks entrants
NORTH CANTON
The Northeast Ohio Blues Association will host a blues challenge April 25 at the Eagles, 6979 Sunset Strip Ave. NW.
Blues bands and solo/duo blues acts will compete for cash prizes and NEOBA sponsorship at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tenn., in early 2016.
The IBC is the largest gathering and showcase of blues talent in the world.

Opera group offers ‘Three Little Pigs’

Opera Western Reserve Young Artists will present “The Three Little Pigs” at 3 p.m. March 8 in the ballroom of Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave.
The one-hour performance follows the classic tale. At the conclusion, the cast will meet and interact with the audience.
