Boardman man arrested on theft and drug charges

A township man faces misdemeanor theft and drug charges after police said he took merchandise from a township business.

Harry Carcase, 22, of Glenridge Road, was arrested Friday at Dick’s Sporting Goods, 550 Boardman-Poland Road, after a store employee reported to police that Carcase took more than $300 worth of items from the store.

When police found Carcase and arrested him, they also found marijuana, a pipe, a scale and the stolen items. He is charged with theft, possession of marijuana and two drug paraphernalia charges.

Carcase was released on a summons pending an appearance in Mahoning County Area Court here Tuesday.
