Kimberly and Randy Brant of Hubbard are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rachael Brant of Brookfield, and J.D. Underwood, son of Shannon Poltor, both of Brookfield.

The couple have chosen May 15 for their 2:30 p.m. wedding at New Life Lutheran Church in Youngstown. A reception will take place at Mahoning Country Club in Girard. Invitations will be issued for both events.

The bride-to-be earned a degree in graphic design from Youngstown State University. She is employed as a graphic designer for Lawrence County Social Services Inc. in New Castle, Pa.

The prospective groom is employed as a road driver for FedEx Freight in North Jackson.
