Orange Bowl final: Clemson 37, Oklahoma 17

MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. — The first half of the College Football Playoff title game is set after Clemson routed Oklahoma, 37-17, on Thursday in the Orange Bowl.

The Sooners, coached by Youngstown native and Cardinal Mooney High School graduate Bob Stoops, led 17-16 at halftime, but the second half was all Clemson as the top-ranked Tigers regained the lead and pulled away.
