Market Street bridge will be closed to motorists and pedestrians at noon

The Market Street bridge will be closed to motorists and pedestrians from noon today until 2 a.m. Friday for the setup and launching of fireworks for the city’s New Year’s eve observance.

Fireworks will be launched from the bridge at 9 p.m. and midnight during the 16th annual First Night Youngstown celebration, said Jennifer Jones, First Night president.
