Cotton Bowl final: Alabama 38, Michigan State 0

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — Alabama didn't let the Big Ten champion get the best of the Crimson Tide this time.

A year after Ohio State dominated Alabama in a College Football Playoff semifinal, the Crimson Tide dominated Michigan State 38-0 in the Cotton Bowl on Thursday night to reach the CFP title game.

Alabama (13-1) will meet Clemson (14-0) on Monday, Jan. 11 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
