Youngstown police investigating assault of man on East Side

YOUNGSTOWN — City police searched but could not find a group of men who assaulted another man at a Gluck Street apartment on the East Side about 4:30 p.m. today.

One man was taken to the hospital, and police searched two other apartments with guns drawn and a wooded area searching for the suspects but could not find them.

Campbell police also assisted. The victim was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
