Hubbard man faces assault charge

HUBBARD — A man faces a misdemeanor charge of assault after a fight Tuesday evening at Michael's Bar on North Main Street.

Leo Kosmo, 35, of Hubbard is alleged by police to have punched a 43-year-old man in the face. Witnesses told police the two men were going to play pool and that the punch was unprovoked, according to a police report. Officers found a knife under a throw rug near where the fight took place.
