Girard police investigating car damages on city street

GIRARD — Police are investigating a series of broken car windows reported today.

An East Second Street resident reported that his car’s rear window had been shattered. Officers found a marble near the scene, which may have been shot through the window with a sling shot, according to a police report.

Officers found another car, also parked on East Second, with a busted rear window, and a car parked on East Howard Street with a broken driver’s-side window.
