Vandalism and criminal damaging at Boardman Dollar General

Township police are investigating a reported case of vandalism and criminal damaging at a Midlothian Boulevard business.

A manager at Dollar General, 859 E. Midlothian Blvd., reported Monday that someone had cut wires to a CCTV monitor and defaced another one. The monitors in the store are used for security purposes.

Surveillance footage reportedly shows two male suspects covering up one camera, and then movement on the other camera before it stopped recording.

Management reported being concerned that the suspects were planning to rob the store.
