Kara Dawn McNeal became the bride of Vincent James Nardy at 2 p.m. Sept. 12 at St. Christine Church durng a ceremony officiated by the Rev. John Keehner.

A reception followed at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.

Parents of the newlyweds are Mike and Belinda McNeal of Sebring and Vince and Roseann Nardy of Solon.

The bride wore an ivory satin fit and flare gown with a lace overlay and adorned shoulder straps that featured a low back and chapel-length train.

Ayla Myers and Emily Machuga were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Novena, Ashley Lowe, Alicia Goodwin, Kimberly Mohr, Tricia Cunningham and Casey Fisher. The groom’s cousin, Giovanna Sculli, was flower girl. The attendants wore Tiffany blue dresses.

Michael Karns and Brandon Veri shared duties of best man. Groomsmen included Casey Fitzpatrick, Ray Degli, Gerry Zadnik, Bahram Namdari, the groom’s brother, Matt Nardy, and the bride’s brother, Michael McNeal. Ring bearers were Connor Carpenter, the bride’s nephew, and Jaxson Ludt, cousin and godson of the groom. The groom’s cousins, Patrick Sculli and John Ludt, were ushers.

Mrs. Nardy earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Kent State University.

She is a trauma registered nurse at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in life science with a minor in biology from Pennsylvania State University.

He earned a degree in osteopathic medicine from Lake Erie College of Medicine.

He is a general surgery resident physician at Ohio Health Grant Hospital and Doctors Hospital in Columbus.

The couple took a wedding trip to St. Lucia. They live in Grove City, Ohio.
