“Stalked by My Doctor” (8 p.m., Lifetime): Now that Christmas is over, the mushy movies are out, and it’s back to business as usual. Hence, “Stalked by My Doctor” – a TV film about a heart surgeon (Eric Roberts) who saves the life of a teen girl, then becomes eerily obsessed with her.

“The Sound of Music Live!” (8 p.m., NBC): This Carrie Underwood vehicle is not as much fun to hate-watch as the “Peter Pan” disaster, but it’ll do.

“Community Connection” (Sunday at 6:30 a.m. on 21 WFMJ-TV, and 11 a.m. on WBCB-TV): First Night Youngstown will be relaunched on New Year’s Eve in downtown Youngstown. Samantha Turner of First Night Youngstown will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the changes.

Next, Pastor Lock Beachum of Victory Christian Center in Liberty will discuss the church’s outreach program “Send the Rain,” which will start the new year.

“Increase the Peace” (today at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 6:30 a.m. on MyYTV): Andrea Mahone welcomes Eddie J. Howard, vice president of student experiences at Youngstown State University. He will share how the university is developing integrity, respect and passion to help students defy their identities.

“A Conversation With Dee” (Sunday at 8:30 a.m. on WKBN-TV): Dee Crawford’s guests will be Dr. Martha Bruce, Susan Moorer and Samantha Turner, who will discuss the Adopt-A School Program and recognize the many community volunteers who have supported this program over the years.

“Senior Focus” (today and Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on Armstrong Cable channels 20 and 100): Host Bill Adams will be joined by James Crawford, local volunteer with the AARP. Crawford will discuss the proposed Ohio Caregiving Act plus consumer electric rates and fraud against seniors.

Daughter will tell mother’s life story

YOUNGSTOWN

The Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, will present a one-hour Lunch and Learn program at noon Feb. 3 about Jocheved Branigan. A Christian born in the Virgin Islands, Branigan would convert to Judaism and emigrate to Israel. She died three years ago, but her daughter Maayana will tell her amazing story. A light lunch will be served.
