Melissa Shipley and Larry Koch of Boardman are announcing their engagement.

Invitations will be issued for a 1:30 p.m. Jan. 2, 2016, ceremony to take place in the St. James Meeting House at Boardman Park and a reception to follow at the Fifth Season Banquet Center in Mineral Ridge.

The bride-elect is employed in the bookstore at Youngstown State University.

Her future husband works at GLI Pool Products.
