Things are looking up at Port Columbus Airport

Columbus Dispatch: Like people, cities get only one chance to make a first impression. So it’s good news that according to a fall survey, Port Columbus is favorably regarded by travelers.

The airport scored 749 on a 1,000-point scale in the J.D. Power 2015 North American Airport Satisfaction Study. That’s up from 715 points in 2010, the last survey.

Port Columbus’ ranking puts it in the middle between the international airports in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky, which scored 766 points, and Cleveland Hopkins, which got 698 points.

And there’s more good news: Port Columbus placed in the top 10 among mid-sized airports for its shopping experience.

The improved ranking is the result of good planning and strong management of this regional asset.
