YOUNGSTOWN

Police say they found heroin and Suboxone on a Lake Milton man they found in a parking lot Monday afternoon known for high levels of drug activity.

Aaron Tilton, 34, is in the Mahoning County jail on charges of possession of heroin, possession of drugs, possessing drug-abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was spotted in a parking lot in the 2000 block of Market Street about 3:25 p.m.

Reports said Patrolman Mark Sember noticed a car that Tilton was sitting in parked far away from a Market Street business, and he went to investigate. As he walked up to the car, the driver got out and walked toward him in such a way as to block Sember’s view of the car, reports said.

Reports said Sember ordered the driver back into the car and he saw Tilton in the passenger seat moving around with his feet and a belt was strapped tight around his arm, as if he was preparing to shoot heroin.

Tilton admitted to the officer that he had drug paraphernalia. When he was taken out of the car, Sember found four needles and a spoon. In Tilton’s pockets was a dose of suspected heroin and the Suboxone, reports said.
