Free on $5,000 bond
YOUNGSTOWN
A 72-year-old Austintown man, who was indicted by the Mahoning County grand jury last week on nine counts each of pandering obscenity involving a minor and illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, is free on a $5,000 cash bond after his Tuesday arraignment.
James P. Rogenski Sr. of Clearwater Cove posted the bond after Magistrate Timothy G. Welsh of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court set a $50,000 bond, but said 10 percent of that amount was acceptable.
As a condition of the bond, Welsh ordered Rogenski to have no contact with anyone under age 15.
The purported offenses occurred between Nov. 6 and 12 this year.
