Boardman police investigating break-in

BOARDMAN — A township restaurant was broken into sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning.

A township police officer, while on patrol Monday morning, noticed the front door of Shanghai River, 945 Boardman-Canfield Road, had been smashed with a brick, according to a police report.

The business owner reported that $100 was missing from the cash register, which was not damaged and showed no signs of being pried open.
