Mr., Mrs. Longo to be honored for 50th anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN

A private dinner party on Dec. 27 will mark the 50th anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene F. Longo Sr. of Youngstown.

Invitations were issued for the celebration that will be hosted by Gene and Shelly Longo and the honored couple’s grandchildren.

The family circle for the Longos includes Gene Longo Jr. of Youngstown and Christine Curtin of Palm Harbor, Fla., and five grandchildren.

The former Virginia D. Greathouse and Mr. Longo were married Dec. 27, 1965, in Youngstown.

The Longos are members of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica in Youngstown.

Mrs. Longo is an assistant manager at Pizza Joe’s on Gypsy Lane in Youngstown.

Mr. Longo retired in 2007 as a welder at Starr Fabricating in Vienna. He is a U.S. Army veteran.
