A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

Dec. 7

Telecommunications harassment: Telecommunications harassment was reported at a home in the 40 block of Willow Way.

Dec. 9

Theft by deception: Theft by deception occurred at a home in the 400 block of Carriage Hill Drive.

Drug abuse: Anthony Mariani, 18, of Tippecanoe Road was arrested on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dec. 11

Drug abuse: Mohammad Amer Khan, 19, of Southern Boulevard, Boardman, was arrested on a charge of drug abuse.

Drug trafficking: Jermain Phipps, 20, of West Chalmers Avenue, Youngstown, was arrested on charges of drug trafficking, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.

AUSTINTOWN

Dec. 7

Aggravated menacing: A male threatened to shoot up a victim’s apartment and was harassing a woman in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: Two catalytic converters were cut from vehicles at Steeltown Motors, 6617 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Catalytic converters were cut from three vehicles at Devlin Auto Sales, 6615 Mahoning Ave.

Assault: James Ratliff, 34, of Cannon Road was charged with assault and criminal damaging and endangering after he pushed a woman and damaged her vehicle.

Assault: A male suspect assaulted a woman in the 4000 block of New Road. He may have had a handgun.

Dec. 8

Domestic violence: Jessica Raisky, 21, of Calvary Court was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

Recovered property: A wallet was recovered at Panera Bread, 5503 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: A rear door was kicked in and a television was taken at a home in the 3000 block of Lanterman Drive.

Theft: Arkadi Akoptan, 32, of Van Nuys, Calif., was arrested for theft at Walmart,6001 Mahoning Ave. He stole a television and tried to return it, a report said.

Burglary: A door was kicked in and a television was taken at a home in the 4000 block of Riblet Road.

Burglary: Electronics were stolen at a home in the 7000 block of Backwater Cove.

Theft: A purse was stolen at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Dec. 9

Theft: Marquayasha Driver,21, of Compass West was arrested on a charge of theft of $198.25 in merchandise at Walmart.

Criminal damaging: A 2008 Chevrolet Malibu was damaged at Walmart.

Theft: Soma and Oxycodone were stolen from a vehicle in the 80 block of North Raccoon Road.

Theft: A two-way radio was stolen from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of Celeste Circle.

Theft: A debit card was taken and used at a home in the 100 block of Parkgate Avenue.

Misuse of credit card: A suspect used a credit card to pay for services at Fred Martin Ford, 4701 Mahoning Ave., but the card was declined.

Recovered property: Bullets were recovered in the 200 block of Birchtrace Drive.

Theft: Food was taken at Walmart.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was hit by a BB pellet on Orkney Avenue at Dunlap Avenue.

Dec. 10

Burglary: Hydrocodone was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Woodmere Drive.

Theft: Thomas Dalton, 67, of Northeast River Road, Lake Milton, was arrested on a charge of theft of $22.60 worth of food at Walmart.

Theft: A bank/credit card was used after being stolen at a home in the 2000 block of Hamman Drive

Warrant: Alitio Core, 78, of Squirrel Run Court, Mineral Ridge, was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply with Niles Housing Maintenance Code regarding the exterior of a property in the 1000 block of Robbins Avenue.

Disorderly conduct: Kimberly Gregory,52, of Kenmore Avenue, Warren, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Disrupting public service: A suspect is accused of making continuous calls to police dispatch with profanity, etc.

Dec. 11

Fraud: Unauthorized charges to a credit-card account were reported at a home in the 6000 block of Berry Blossom Drive.

Falsification: Aeryka Gentry, 32, of Mahoning Avenue was arrested on a Boardman warrant for falsification.

Felonious assault: A male suspect swerved his vehicle toward the victim at Norquest Boulevard and Evans Avenue.

Fraud: False information was given to purchase a vehicle at Key Auto Brokers, 5317 Mahoning Avenue.

Drug offense: Davin Stilson, 19, of Willowood Road, Hubbard, and Julian Gibson, 18, of Pembrook Avenue were both arrested on charges of possession of marijuana.

Dec. 12

Domestic violence: David Sharpe, 52, of Westchester Drive was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

Theft: A total $860 was missing from a night-deposit bag at McDonald’s, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Recovered property: A tool box was recovered under a porch at a home in the 5000 block of New Road.

Theft: Gary Heffner, 53, of Atlantic Ave., was arrested for theft of a cell phone at the California Palms and Suites, 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Dec. 13

Theft: Laser lights were stolen at a home in the 3000 block of Ayreshire Drive.

Theft: Laser lights were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.

Theft: Stephanie Martin of Connecticut Drive, Youngstown, and Mildred Giesey of Avondale Avenue, Youngstown, were arrested on charges of theft of $121.35 in merchandise at Walmart.

Theft: A wallet and an iPhone 6 were stolen at the Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Glenn Lambert, 36, of Circle Street, Niles, and Nicole Lambert, 36, same address, were arrested on a charge of theft at Walmart. They paid for 40 items, but checked out with 57 items, a report said.

Auto theft: A scooter was stolen from a home in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Breaking and entering: The lock was cut on a storage shed, and tools were taken at Uncle Bob’s, 3690 LeHarps Road.

Theft: Christmas decoration lights were stolen at a home in the 50 block of Carnegie Avenue.

Theft: Five juveniles were caught stealing Christmas laser lights on Rosemont Avenue. They were released to their parents, and their vehicle was towed.

Criminal damaging: Windows on three vehicles were smashed at a home in the 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.

Theft: Survey equipment was stolen by juveniles who were riding four-wheelers at Lanterman Road and Carlin Drive.
