The Boardman Lions Club gathered for its December meeting at Cafe 422 and entertainment was provided by the Happy Hearts Junior Tamburitzans.

Highlights of the meeting included the induction of new members, Carol Ann Olgun and Janet Sainato, who were sponsored by King Lion Mary Beth Shobel, and Marcy Hughes and Jeffrey W. McLhinney, sponsored by Kris Dailey.

Lions Laura Sobotka, Bill Rausch and Jaclyn Rausch received 10-year milestone Chevron awards by District Governor Bob Allgood of the East Liverpool Lions.

At the meeting, the service club discussed winter and spring activities and fundraisers, including its Night at the Races event in March.
