Youngstown police arrest 3 on obstruction of justice
YOUNGSTOWN — Police arrested three people for obstruction of justice in two separate incidents Wednesday.
About 9:05 a.m. Shaquwanna Moore, 22, of Willow Court, was taken into custody at her home after reports said she told U.S. Marshals looking for a man wanted on a warrant the man was not there. Police went inside and found the man hiding in the home, reports said. Both were taken to the Mahoning County jail.
About 3:45 p.m., officers on patrol on Cordova Avenue spotted Anthony Howell, 26, who is wanted on a warrant. Reports said Howell was working on a car and when officers stopped, he ran away. He was later caught after a short foot chase, reports said.
A woman in the car Howell was working on, Johnna Hightower, 24, of Youngstown, was also arrested for obstructing official business because she gave police a fake name, reports said.
They were both also taken to the jail. Records show Howell was released later.
