Larosa makes first adult court appearance Tuesday

The first appearance in adult court for Jacob Larosa, 16, of Niles in his aggravated murder case will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, when he is arraigned by Judge W. Wyatt McKay of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

The hearing was moved from Wednesday to Tuesday to ensure that proper security is provided for the hearing.

Larosa will be tried as an adult in the killing and attempted rape of his neighbor, Marie Belcastro, 94. She was found dead March 31 in her Cherry Street home in Niles.
