‘Buddy Holly’ coming to theater

Tickets are on sale now for “Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story” at E.J. Thomas Hall on Jan. 12 and 13.

“Buddy” tells the life story of the music icon’s rise to fame, up to his final performance in Clear Lake, Iowa, before his tragic death at age 22 in a plane crash. In 18 months, the Texan revolutionized contemporary music, influencing everyone from the Beatles to Bruce Springsteen.

With a cast led by Michael Perrie Jr. as Buddy Holly, the show includes two hours of music with more than 20 of Holly’s greatest hits.
