Joseph Butler Jr. is topic of lecture

Rick Shale, author and retired Youngstown State University professor, will give a lecture titled “Youngstown’s First Citizen: Joseph G. Butler Jr.” at noon Thursday at Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St., part of the Bites and Bits luncheon series.
Overture Restaurant, in the adjacent DeYor Performing Arts Center, is offering a $6 lunch special for lecture-goers; call 330-744-9900 for reservations.
