Jaden Walton’s 25 points included his 1,000th for his career for the Tigers. Walton made four 3-pointers among his nine baskets. Ben Simpson scored 13 points. For the Warriors, Marc Kraml led with 16 points.

ASHTABULA

John Ryan led the Spartans (3-2) with 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Sebastian Heinonen scored 14 points, all in the second half. Gannon Murray and Holden Lipke each scored 10 points, and Lipke made five assists.

Poland 72, Girard 44

POLAND

Mike Gajdos and Matt Baker each scored 14 points to lead the Bulldogs. Jared Burkert scored 12. For the Indians, Anthony Graziano made three 3-pointers for nine points.

Warren Harding 108, Howland 34

WARREN

Harding was just too hot to handle for Howland. Derek Culver and Shakem Johnson both produced double doubles, with Culver going 27-and-13 and Johnson went 18-12. Gabe Simpson also had a double-double 21 points, 10 assists and five steals. Mike Massucci had seven points for Howland in defeat.

Canfield 65, Carrollton 31

CANFIELD

The Cardinals were in the driver’s seat for the entire contest, conceding just eight points in the first half. Mason Magnapora led Canfield with 17 points and Julian Vitto added 10. Cole Russell was Carrollton’s top scorer with 10 points.

LaBrae 50, Liberty 40

LIBERTY

Logan Kiser and Caelon Hyland led LaBrae with 10 points, with help from Mike Eakins, who scored nine points. For the Leopards, Andre Bowers scored 11 points, and Dra Rushton and Daniel Banks tacked on 10 points each.

Akron SVSM 61, Ursuline 42

AKRON

A player named Baddley played pretty well against Ursuline. Henry Baddley and Jayvon Graves each scored 16 points to lead SVSM. Greg Parella had 11 points for Ursuline.

Champion 73, Campbell 49

CAMPBELL

Noah Bayus scored a game-high 21 points as Champion routed Campbell. Zach Lindsay also added 11 points and Eric Karafa scored 12 for the Golden Flashes. Rasean Hicks paced Campbell with 10 points.

Fitch 66, East 60

AUSTINTOWN

Fitch’s Dom DiFrancesco led with 18 points, with help from Anthony Pargio’s 16 points and Derek Gunter’s 14 points. For East, Morrow Malik led with 24 points. Howell Darnell also contributed 14 points, and Donadelle Imoni contributed 12.

South Range 62, Columbiana 40

Brandon Youngs scored 21 points to lead the Raiders past the Clippers. Preston Stitt’s 18 points included four 3-pointers. Anthony Ritter contributed 13 points for South Range. For the Clippers, Burdette Baker led with 16 points.

Springfield 64, Southern 54

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Graham Mincher scored 22 points and the Tigers outscored the Indians 22-15 in the final quarter to pull away. Also scoring in double figures for the Tigers were Jake Ford with 13, Jordan Capoullez with 11 and Frank Centofanti with 10. Christian Adkins led Southern with 34 points.

Western Reserve 63, East Palestine 38

BERLIN CENTER

Western Reserve took an early lead and never looked back. Lance DeZee and Cole Dezee combined for a total of 30 points; Lance scored 17, while Cole scored 13. Cody Hilles also contributed nine points. For East Palestine, Parker Sherry and Brandon Kemp led with 10 points each.

Lisbon 73, Lowellville 49

LOWELLVILLE

Lisbon’s Austin Rutecki led with a game-high 16 points, followed closely by Avery Andric’s 14 points. Josh Liberati also tacked on nine points. For the Rockets, Jon Chiclowe led with 14 points, with help from Cole Beatty with 13 points and A. Crenshaw, who added on 10 points.

Mathews 84, Mineral Ridge 73

Clay O’Dell led the Mustangs with 30 points, and Chris McWicker and Sean McDivitt contributed 17 points each. For Mineral Ridge, Zane Rummel led with a game-high 32 points, with help from Riko Rodriguez, who tacked on 10 points.

LEETONIA

Jackson-Milton wasn’t able to bounce back from a four-point first quarter. Shanye Rhodes led Leetonia with 15 points and Roman Ferry and Evan Davis put up 14 and 13 points, respectively. Austin Christopher led the Bluejays with 22 points.

McDonald 99, Crestview 27

CRESTVIEW

The Blue Devils ensured the game was out of reach early with a 42-9 run in the first quarter. Zack Fedyski led the way with 17 points, Jake Reckard added 15, Braedon Poole and Dylan Portolese each contributed 12 points and Caleb Emerson had 10 for undefeated McDonald. Elijah McCallum led Crestview with 12.

Bristol 62, Maplewood 48

Bristol’s Jack Mitton led with 15 points, Tommy Donadio contributed 12 points, and Alex Jones contributed eight points. For Maplewood, Zach Dawson contributed 13 points, and Matt Sheely and Bob Evan both scored 10 points.

EAST LIVERPOOL

Nick Rusyn scored 14 points for Salem and Dan Laut added 13 as the Quakers edged East Liverpool. Zack Adkins scored a game-high 15 points for East Liverpool.
