Staff report

YOUNGSTOWN

Artists of the Rust Belt’s annual Christmas Last-Minute Market will take place this weekend at B&O Station, 530 Mahoning Ave.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $1.

Forty of the region’s top artists will offer their unique works, ranging from jewelry and photography to pottery and paintings.

“Support the local economy by purchasing regionally made, one-of-a-kind signature items,” said Tony Nicholas, executive director of Artists of the Rust Belt. “They are great for gift-giving as well as for adding to one’s own personal collection.”

The Alternative Food Truck will be stationed outside, and rum cakes by Aunt Sadie’s Kitchen will be sold.

On Sunday, Youngstown-based “Simpsons” comic- book artist Chris Yambar will sign copies of the new Simpsons Winter Wing Ding annual, which features the popular cartoon family. It will be Yambar’s only public signing for the book.

“It’s always a thrill to bring something home that’s an exclusive for my friends and family in Youngstown,” said Yambar.

Only 150 copies of the book will be available during this signing.

Free treats will be available to every child in attendance Sunday.
