LIMELIGHTS & CAREER PATHS

LAW

Atty. Frederick S. Coombs III, a Youngstown bankruptcy and creditors rights attorney and member in the law firm of Harrington, Hoppe & Mitchell Ltd., has been named to the Ohio Super Lawyers list for the seventh consecutive year. Coombs was recognized in the area of business bankruptcy.

Meanwhile, Matthew M. Ries, an employment and civil litigation lawyer with HHM, has been named to the Super Lawyers “Rising Star” list for the second straight year. Ries was recognized in the area of employee litigation defense.

The lists of top lawyers are published annually, based on balloting and peer review by lawyers throughout the Buckeye State. Only about 5 percent of the state’s attorneys appear on the Super Lawyer list. The “Rising Star” distinction recognizes outstanding lawyers under age 40 who have practiced law for fewer than 10 years.

The lists are distributed to more than 43,000 lawyers throughout the Buckeye State and will be published in the January editions of Inside Business, Cleveland Magazine, Columbus Monthly and Cincinnati Magazine.
