Alabama's Derrick Henry wins Heisman

NEW YORK — Alabama's Derrick Henry has won the 2015 Heisman Trophy.

The Crimson Tide running back rushed for 1,986 yards, setting an SEC single-season record. Georgia's Herschel Walker had held the record since 1981, when he rushed for 1,891.

Henry joins Mark Ingram as the only Alabama players to win the Heisman.

Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott finished eighth in the Heisman voting.
