Water boil alert continues for Girard, parts of Liberty and Weathersfield

A boil alert that went into effect last weekend following a water main break will continue at least through Saturday, when officials expect to receive test results. As a precaution, residents should boil water before using it for cooking, eating or brushing teeth. The alert affects all of Girard as well as residents in Liberty and Weathersfield Townships who receive water from Girard.
