OSU suspends Washington for Fiesta Bowl


Adolphus Washington's college football is over.

Ohio State's senior defensive tackle was suspended Friday for the Jan. 1 Fiesta Bowl after his arrested for solicitation on Wednesday night in Columbus.

Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer announced the suspension.

Washington, who issued an apology on Thursday, is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 17.

Ohio State and Notre Dame will meet in the Fiesta Bowl on New Year's Day in Glendale, Ariz.
