St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital/St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital Auxiliary will meet at noon Monday at St. Columba Cathedral Hall for a Christmas party.

CLASSES

CLUBS

Newcomers of Mahoning Valley will have its December/holiday meeting Wednesday at Caffe Capri in Boardman. A social hour will begin at 11:30 a.m. Cards will be made for the local VA hospital and VFWs. COUNCILS

National Council of Negro Women will have a meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the McGuffey Centre in Youngstown. A Hats Off to Seniors Luncheon will follow from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be bingo, Christmas carols, a hat parade and door prizes. Cost is $12.50 per person or free for seniors citizens 70 and over. There is limited seating.

St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.

SERVICE CLUBS

Girard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St., Girard.

Kiwanis Club of Western Mahoning County will sponsor photos with Santa Claus from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Farmers Bank, 20 S. Broad St., Canfield.

D.A.R.E. meets 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. R-Weigh Weight Support Groups meet on Mondays at First Friends Church, 1028 Jennings Ave., Salem. Afternoon weigh-in is from 1 to 1:30 p.m., and the meeting will follow at 1:45. Evening weigh-ins are from 5 to 6 p.m. followed by the meeting at 6:15. The first meeting is free. Guests are welcome. The club is an all-volunteer, nonprofit group of women helping women to lose weight. All money paid in goes back to the members in incentives to lose weight.
