What: Nice selection of silk arrangements and wreaths made by the students, single and double red poinsettias. Fresh centerpieces and wreaths also available or made to order.

BOXWOOD TREE

What: Join Deby Clark to decorate your home for the season with a beautiful fresh boxwood tree, ornaments, ribbons.

ASTRONOMY NIGHT

What: A “new” moon should provide plenty of dark sky to pick out winter constellations.

Coffee with The Birds

When: Saturday, 9:30-11 a.m.

What: Watch birds with Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist Nancy Brundage while sipping coffee (or tea). Bring your favorite mug.

What: Create holiday wreath with evergreens and nature items. Learn about the trees that provide us with wonderful winter decorations.

GEMINID METEOR SHOWER

When: Sunday, 6-8 p.m.

What: Geminids are considered one of the more spectacular meteor showers during a year, with the possibility of sighting around 120 meteors per hour at its peak.

Where: Meet at Huston-Brumbaugh Nature Center Visitors Center, 16146 Daniel St. NE, Minerva, before heading to the observation area.

Cost: Free

Details: Bring a flashlight and dress for winter weather. Canceled if overcast skies or inclement weather.

Winter white wreath

What: Design white grapevine wreath with fresh seeded eucalyptus and limonium, plus white assorted pods to use all winter.
