Art show, sale opens at DNA galleries

“The Gift of Art,” a holiday group exhibition and sale, will open Saturday with a free reception from 7 to 10 p.m. and run through Jan. 11 at DNA Studios Gallery, 137 S. Park Ave.

Electronic-music artist Dollar Bill will perform at the reception, which will include free refreshments.

Seven area artists, working in varied mediums and styles, will be represented. Prices range from $50 to $500.

The artists are:

Jeffrey Puccini, a self-taught realism painter.

Tony Kasmar, sculpture, painting and illustration.

Jennifer Werthman, a realism artist who also works in charcoal and pencil.

Jacob Davis, a painter and tattoo artist.

R. Jason Vanhoose, a well-known local painter with a unique style.

Dennis Kirsch, an illustrator known for abstract bio-mechanical paintings.
