Austintown Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, will have a stuffed chicken dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Cost of the dinner is $7 and includes mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans and a brownie. Reserve a dinner by calling 330-792-5889. Pepperoni rolls also will be sold for $2 each. Remain in your car at the back of the church and your dinner will be delivered to you.
Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will have its monthly drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The dinner includes potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie for $7 per dinner. Drive up to the door and someone will take the dinners to your car. Call 330-549-2588 to reserve your dinners. Leave your name, phone number, the number of dinners you want and approximate time you will arrive. A percentage of the profits is used for local mission projects.
Woodworth Church of the Brethren, 30 E. Western Reserve Road, at the corner of Market Street, Boardman, will serve takeout dinners of beef tips and noodles from 2:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Meals of Angus beef tips, homestyle noodles, corn, roll with butter and a homemade cookie sell for $8. Drive up to the back door to place an order, and it will be taken to your car. Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. Phone orders may be made from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at beginning at 8 a.m. Friday at 330-755-1316. Orders can be picked up beginning at noon. The last sale is Dec. 18.
Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.
Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will take orders for freshly made each week potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday. Hot lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $6.50 per dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins welcome. Use the side entrance.
St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome. Dec. 18 is the last sale of the year; they will resume Jan. 8.
St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, sells potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. The cost is $6.50 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are welcome. The last day of pirogi sales and lunches will be Dec. 18.
VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 8 p.m. sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary. Prices are $7 for adults, $3.50 for children under 12 and $7 for carryout. Meals include meatballs, salad, Italian bread and coffee or tea.
SATURDAY
Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Ave., Boardman, will host a cookie walk and soup and craft sale from 9 to 11 a.m. or until sold out. Christmas cookies will be sold for $5.50 a dozen. A portion of the proceeds will support the church’s charities.
Calla Community Church, 6482 W. Calla Road, Canfield, will have its annual cookie walk from 10 a.m. until sold out. Cost of regular Christmas cookies is $5 per dozen, and clothespin cookies are $7 per dozen. There will be no pre-sales.

Western Star Lodge 321 F&AM, 8347 Tod Ave., Boardman, will serve a memorial dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. The event will honor Worshipful Brother Tad C. Fithian, who died Oct. 18.
