Authorities seek man for killing wife at Ohio nursing home

CANTON, Ohio (AP) — Police in Northeast Ohio are looking for a man wanted in the fatal shooting of his estranged wife in the parking lot of a Canton nursing home.

The Stark County Sheriff’s Office says in a statement that deputies are searching for 38-year-old Dragan Sekulic. Thirty-seven-year-old Celjka Sekulic was killed about 7:45 a.m. today. Authorities say Sekulic drove off in a sport utility vehicle after the shooting.

The owner of the nursing home has told The Repository newspaper of Canton that Celjka Sekulic was a longtime nurse at the facility. The newspaper also reports that Dragan Sekulic was charged with felonious assault and domestic violence after he allegedly used a vehicle to flip his wife’s car into a ditch Nov. 24. He was freed two days later on a $100,000 bond.
