Warren man to be arraigned in October abduction, burglary
WARREN — Chamazez L. Scott, 19, of Cleveland and Atlantic Street Northwest will be arraigned today in Warren Municipal Court, charged with abduction and aggravated burglary in an Oct. 19 incident in which he’s accused of stabbing another man at his apartment on Atlantic Street Northwest.
Scott is charged with aggravated burglary and abduction and could get more than 10 years in prison if convicted.
Police were called at 7:07 p.m. Oct. 19 for a man, 22, of Belmont Street Northwest, who had been stabbed. The victim’s twin brother said a transsexual dressed as a woman in pajama pants and a purple shirt fled after the stabbing.
The victim, who had a deep laceration in his lower back, said he, his brother and Scott had come to Scott’s house because he was a friend.
