U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will come to Youngstown area in 2017

VIENNA — The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds announced plans to bring their world- class aerial demonstration team back to the Mahoning Valley for the 2017 Thunder Over the Valley Air Show, June 17-18, 2017.

The announcement was made at the International Council of Air Shows conference in Las Vegas on Dec. 6.

The Youngstown Air Reserve Station here will also host an installation open house, June 18, 2016, as a prelude to 2017’s larger-scale event.
