Trumbull County deputies host Shop with a Cop program Wednesday

WARREN — Trumbull County Deputies FOP Lodge 137 is hosting its Shop With A Cop program on Wednesday.

Participants will meet at 5:30 p.m. at Super Kmart, 2100 Niles Cortland Road, and pizza and drinks will be provided to children, their escorts and attending deputies.

Shop with a Cop program provides for children in need throughout Trumbull County while also creating positive relationships with law enforcement. Participating children are identified by local school districts and deputies who submit names of families that they may encounter while on a call. Each child is given $100 to spend and deputies assist with shopping.
