Hubbard police stop leads to OVI charge
HUBBARD — A traffic stop early Sunday morning led to an arrest for operating a vehicle while under the influence.
Police stopped Joshua McConnell, 30, of Hubbard in the parking lot of Splash and Shine Car Wash on North Main Street.
A police report states that McConnell had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol. He register a blood alcohol content of 0.172, according to police. The legal limit in Ohio is 0.08.
McConnell will be arraigned Tuesday in Girard Municipal Court.
