Car slams into Girard pizza parlor tonight

The Melfi & Santangelo Pizza Parlor & Italian Deli, 909 N. State St., Girard, was damaged when a vehicle plowed into the business shortly after after 7 p.m. today.

The Ohio Highway State Patrol is investigating the crash. It is not know yet the amount of damage to the store and whether anyone was injured.
