Youngstown police identify homicide victim as Jeffrey Averette, 47

YOUNGSTOWN

City police have identified the man found shot to death Thursday morning at 807 High St. on the city’s South Side as Jeffrey Averette, 47, of that address.

No arrests have been made and no arrest warrants have been issued in the case, which is being investigated as a homicide.

A family member found Averette dead in his residence at 8:15 a.m. Thursday.
