Salvation Army, Rotary to distribute coats to needy children Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN — The Salvation Army in partnership with Rotary District 6650 Division 1A has geared up for a holiday distribution of new winter coats to needy children in Mahoning County.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Salvation Army headquarters, 1501 Glenwood Ave., more than 1,000 new winter coats will be distributed to pre-registered needy children for free. Additional winter coats will be distributed to parents who did not register their children, on a first-come first-served basis after 2 p.m.
