ASSOCIATIONS

National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Chapter 14 will have its monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. CLASSES

Campbell Memorial Class of 1955 will meet for its monthly breakfast at 10 a.m. Saturday at What’s Cookin’ in the Mathews Road Plaza in Boardman. Classmates, spouses and guests are welcome.

CLUBS

Austintown Growth Foundation will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the meeting room at Fernando’s Wedgewood Pizza. Upcoming events will be discussed. The foundation mission is to enhance the public concept of Austintown, improve residential and business communities and promote local schools; membership is open to residents or owners/administrators of businesses in Austintown. Mahoning Valley Civil War Round Table will have a dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman. David G. Moore, author and historian, will discuss William S. Mahoning Valley Stamp Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Highway Tabernacle, 3000 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown. The club meets the second Thursday of each month.

Transcendental Interest Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the north lounge at Park Vista, 1310 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. There will be a screening of a 40-minute film that explores the nature and meaning of music and sound as applied in the East and West throughout the centuries; guests will then gather to make sounds with drums, bells and gourds. Take your own instrument if you have one. The group meets the second Wednesday of each month and is coordinated by Agnes Martinko. It is free and open to the public. Warren Women’s Connection will gather from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 14 for a luncheon at DiLucia’s Banquet Center, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. Judy Conti Katsaras of Boardman will speak. Conti is a dancer and owner of four local dance studios. Conti’s Senior Dance Divas and vocalist Rita Busin will perform. Western Reserve Amateur Radio Club will meet for dinner at 6 p.m. and a meeting at 7 on Dec. 15 at Davidson’s Restaurant, 3636 Canfield Road, Canfield. Guest speaker will be Tim Duffy (K3LR), the Dayton Hamvention’s 2015 Amateur Radio Operator of the Year, chief operating officer of DX Engineering and an active participant in amateur radio organizations. WRARC provides interested individuals ongoing amateur radio licensing classes and examinations, and also provides voluntary communication services at local events and emergency communications during natural disasters. GUILDS

Youngstown Area Weavers Guild will gather for a holiday luncheon at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road, Canfield. The event is the guild’s 60th anniversary celebration and scarf exchange. The guild was formed in 1955 and serves five counties. SUPPORT GROUPS

Alzheimer Network Family Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2305 S.
